AmarSingh College is rich in Sports.The Sports activities of the college are taken care of the Department of Physical Education, which is headed by a qualified Director. The department frames an annual Games and Sports calendar for the conduct of various activities in and outside the college campus. This facilitates the college to maintain a true discipline among the students, because they have to represent this college in the respective events for the glory and honour of the college. The institution has sufficient Physical and infrastructure facilities available in the field of sports by way of sparse Cricket / Hockey / Football play fields besides volleyball / Badminton courts and an Indoor Table Tennis facility. Students are free to participate in any game of their choice. The college also plans of having a swimming pool for the conduct of aquatic sports. The students are encouraged to take part in sports by providing them incentives like condoning attendance to the extent of 30 days and also by reward of certificate and prizes. All the boys of the different games are called at different times for the selection procedure. The Sports Committee, headed by theDirector Physical Education takes care of the selection procedure
The College has a number of playgrounds for sports and games such as Cricket, Hockey, Foot ball,, volley ball and Badminton. Facilities for indoor games are also available. There is a large ground for outdoor sports, a badminton court, a hockey field, a table tennis court, many cricket fields, volley ball court. a swimming pool is also under construction. The various sport available for the students are: Football, Cricket, Volleyball, Kabaddi, Table Tennis, Badminton, Hockey, Baseball, Judo, Usheo, Swimming, Taekando, Athletics, Chess, Carrom, Throw ball, Thangtha, Cycling, Cross country, Water Skiing, Snow Skiing.

Beside the regular sport activities, the college also provides students the facilities of Adventure sports in the following forms:

All the adventure sports are carried out in various places across the state like Sonamarag, Gulmarag, Pahalgam etc. which are famous for hosting such activities all over the world. The Snow Skiing competitions are being held by the Kashmir University at Gulmarag in which college deputes the regular skiing players to participate in Basic, Intermediate and Advanced courses. Similarly, the aquatic sports are held in the world famous Dal Lake in collaboration with the Tourism Department or the Kashmir university. The Department of Physical Education besides organizing various sport events also organizes various educational tours/ camps to various places of interest in and outside the state. The main aim of these tours is to make the students feel and interact with the world around them. The tours are of many kinds, related to some topic in some particular syllabi, to some historical place, for recreation, for field study, for interactive purposes.
